Preno has certainly come a long way since its creation. Amelia (CEO) and Max (CTO) both moved to Auckland a few years ago, so they could work on developing Preno full-time. They lived right next door to work, and put all their time and effort into developing Preno.
It’s always nice to look back and see just how much the team has grown. As a recent addition to the Preno team, it is inspiring to hear the effort and energy invested into Preno, to make it a leading hotel management system. Since you’ve already met our Head of Sales, it’s about time you meet the person behind these recent blog posts.
A bit about myself
My name is Amanda, and I’m the content writer and marketing person. I’m also a Masters graduate out of The University of Auckland. I love travelling, french fries, tea, and macarons! I am fairly new to the Preno team, and you can usually find me working on marketing content and campaigns.
What is my role on the team?
My role is in Marketing and Sales. I work on all aspects of marketing, which include marketing campaigns, managing social media, and creating content. I also help out our Sales team where I can. Another important aspect of my role is bringing our Lead Recruiter to work!
Favourite part of my job
I love the research and writing aspects of my role. I have a very varied and diverse role that encompasses many areas, which means everyday is slightly different. I’m always working on different projects, and that always keeps things interesting. We also have an amazing work culture, and a hugely passionate and dedicated team. It’s nice to love what you do, and it’s a bonus to be able to bring my dog to work!
Any interesting facts?
I love art, particularly Northern Renaissance paintings and Baroque sculpture.
If I were a coffee…
I’d be a Cappuccino. I love the balance of the coffee, milk and froth.
